Maria Christina Herrera (Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons) is currently completing residency in Pediatrics at University of California, San Francisco. While a SAPHIR Fellow, Tina completed an analysis of alcohol use and risk for HIV/STI acquisition among at-risk MSM in the PICASSO cohort. Her proposal on venue-based testing for HIV infection in Peru received seed grant funding from the UCLA AIDS Institute and is currently in process.
