Iona Machado (Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons) was a Pre-Doctoral Fellow in the Rio de Janeiro site. Her research addressed screening for depression and other mental health disorders among people living with HIV in Brazil, and the impact of mental health problems on HIV clinical outcomes. She is currently a resident in Psychiatry at Stanford University.
