Faiez Saiyed is an MD candidate at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. He completed his SAPHIR fellowship in Lima, Peru where he examined the outcome of mobile health interventions on the HIV cascade of care and also analyzed the effect of social network factors on risky behaviors in male sex workers. Faiez's research interests include using mobile and electronic health to overcome inequality in healthcare delivery. Ultimately, he hopes to work at an academic center, improving access to healthcare in the local and global context as a clinician and researcher.
