Eric Tang, MD, graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2013. While in the SAPHIR program, he conducted research with Asociación Civil Impacta Salud y Educación assessing adherence to syphilis treatment and investigating whether the use of cell phone text messaging can improve completion of syphilis treatment among MSM and transgender women in Peru. Eric is currently completing residency training in Internal Medicine/Preventive Medicine at UCSF/Kaiser Permanente.
