Roxana Lescano, Lic, (Director of Research Ethics Instruction) and has been centrally involved in development and administration of the NAMRU-6 Institutional Review Board since 2002. She is recognized as a regional expert in the field of research ethics, having lead seminars and workshops for clinicians and researchers on issues related to ethical issues in collaborative international research programs. She has also taught courses in Bioethics for the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia School of Medicine and published on the development of an international research ethics curriculum in international peer-reviewed journals.
Applications for the 2026-27 Fellowship class are now being accepted and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
