Andres Lescano, MHS, PhD, (Faculty Mentor) is an infectious diseases epidemiologist with a PhD in Global Epidemiology and Disease Control and Masters’ degrees in Biostatistics and Health Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is an Associate Professor at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, and has adjunct appointments at Tulane University, University of Texas Medical Branch and Johns Hopkins. Dr. Lescano has published ~90 publications and trained hundreds of Masters’ and other students under major capacity building efforts of regional impact.
